The QUB Digital Humanities Initiative is sponsored by The Library and Institute for Collaborative Research in the Humanities (ICRH) at Queen’s. They are collaborating to foster, develop and build skills and proficiencies in digital tools,methods and techniques to support the evolution of traditional humanities disciplines. Emerging digital arts and humanities research projects are collaborative in nature crossing disciplines, institutions and political boundaries to discover new means to create new knowledge. Through this programme a series of workshops, seminars and lectures inspire and instruct on emerging digital humanities practise. Through consultations researchers are being assisted in funding proposals and we are working with a variety of stakeholders to co-develop digital humanities projects.
Some examples of these include:
- The Sir Robert Hart digital exhibition;
- The Heaney at Queen’s digital exhibition;
- The DH@QUB dh Portal.
